Packaging Rebrand
Kodak Professional
Tasked with launching the Kodak Professional 400 Tri-X one-time-use camera — the first disposable camera to feature professional-grade black-and-white film — I led our in-house design team to develop new camera body graphics and packaging that merged the brand heritage with a contemporary aesthetic.
The new design leverages equity from the Kodak Professional line while evolving the aesthetic toward the Kodak Moments brand, ensuring visual distinction on shelf and in-hand. The result positioned Kodak Professional as an independent, contemporary brand while honoring its iconic heritage.
We made subtle refinements to the dieline by softening and smoothing out irregular curves. The addition of a noticeable “wing” on the lower right label embellishes the organic curvilinear shape.
New photography was created for the front of carton package with a tilt-shift lens and many, many mirrors to achieve the desired effect.
